Biography:

I love getting out and about photographing any critter holding still long enough. I graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Entomology in 1976, but I focused on aquatic insects at the time and now, many many years later, I am enjoying learning the terrestrial species with the great help of bugguide and my fellow bug friends in KC. Which is a great way to spend my retirement years. I am also the author of "A Photographic Field Guide to the Butterflies in the Kansas City Region."
