Biography:

I grew up on the east coast and have been fascinated by nature since those early days. I have lived in California since 1977 and have a Master's degree in ecology. I am a biology instructor at three San Diego County community colleges, primarily teaching general biology, human anatomy and human physiology. My main interests are insect observation, collection and photography. I also enjoy birding and general nature observation.
