Biography:

I have a BS in Biology (UCLA, 1987) with an emphasis in Botany, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (UC Davis, 1994). Although I have no training or professional involvement in entomology, I've recently gotten into photographing and identifying the bugs that I encounter while camping and hiking.
