M.Sc. in wildlife biology (1974). Recently retired as an editor/writer for the Integrated Pest Management Group of the Canadian Forest Service (although actually employed by Forest Protection Limited), which is populated by entomologists and technicians who work on forest defoliators and invasive species. I became interested in insects in 2005 while conducting field work for a publication of pests and diseases of balsam fir Christmas trees, and I am very glad that I have found BugGuide.
