Biography:



In 2007, I spent the entire Butterfly season documenting the species found in White County, Illinois, the county where I live. I noticed available data records were sorely lacking for my county and could only find records for 3 species on the internet. Even print references such as Kaufman's Butterflies of North America is inaccurate in a few instances where my area is concerned! By devoting the entire Butterfly season to this project, there are now indisputable records documenting over 60 different species. It just goes to show that one person can make a difference!
