Biography:

Recently Robert Lord Zimlick asked that I add a little personal info to my user account concerning background and experience. I am a retired research chemist and started taking photos of moths after meeting Darryl Searcy thru his web site and started posting some of them on his web site in 2007. I began reading a little about moths at that time, but mostly just searched for image matches to my moth pictures on Moth Photograph Group and a few other web sites. When Darryl could no longer manage his web site due to personal problems, I joined BAMONA in 2011 and have been posting photos there and now have about 1000 moth photos there, although many of them are repeats for the season info. In 2012 when National Moth week was announced I opened an account for that event at Project Noah and started posting moth photos there also. I am not very knowledgeable about technical data concerning moths, but mostly just search for images and resort to BugGuide.Net for help on the ones I cannot decide on. I greatly appreciate the help and identifications that the great people working there give me.
