Sorry I haven't been as active lately, too much going on.

I have been a contributing editor for BugGuide specializing in spiders since August 2012.

If you've arrived at this page because I've moved your ID request to "Spiders (Araneae)" it is because other people experienced in IDing spiders look there, it is not intended to be an oubliette for unidentifiable spiders. :)

If you've arrived at this page because I have "frassed" a photo, please don't take it personally. Frassed photos are pictures that are not needed for the Guide and will be deleted in 30 days. I am not a good photographer and appreciate how difficult it can be to take a picture of a spider. If I've frassed a photo and there is a reason for it to remain in the Guide just leave a message on the frassed photo and if it is yours, move it back into the Guide.

I am forever an amateur at IDing spiders and am constantly learning something new. I enjoy sharing what little I do know with others and helping to bring understanding and appreciation to creatures that are so often misunderstood.

I'd also like to note here that I love and appreciate all my fellow editors and friends I've made here. I thoroughly enjoy the time I spend on BugGuide. ♥
