I am a college student working towards a BS in Biology with a concentration in Botany, and taking what classes my college has in Ecology and Entomology since they don't have concentrations in those subjects.

You cannot look at plants without also seeing their pollinators. I am looking forward to going into native plant and pollinator research and conservation. I've developed a soft spot for the Bombus and Melissodes genus', but I'll have to save that for after I get my Biology degree!

I am an intern under Diane Wilson at Applewood Seed Company. So far, I've been having a blast learning about all of our native plants, bees and other pollinators! It's safe to say that I have officially become "bee crazy." :)

I shoot with a Canon Powershot SD1100 IS.
