Marvin Smith, Contributor
City, state, country:
Marshall, AR, USA
Biography:

Marvin and Jo Smith
Rural Searcy County
Ozark Mountains, USA.

An interest in photography led to macros, which led to insects, which is leading to a desire to know more about our subjects.

Nature in the Ozarks Our blog, featuring (mostly) insects, wildflowers and other wonders of nature found in the southern Ozark Mountains.

Edit (3/6/10) by Marvin: I've changed our username to show only my name since I make all the BugGuide posts, comments, etc. and take the majority of our insect photos. (Jo is the family birder and pins down most of our wildflower IDs.) It sometimes seemed awkward when other members had to address comments and correspondence to both of us. I'll make every effort to give Jo credit when she is the photographer.
