Biography:

Moth enthusiast, dividing time between southeastern Texas, northern Colorado, and occasionally Oregon.

The interest arose out of gardening, after encountering larvae/caterpillars initially considered to be pests (cabbage loopers, soybean loopers, melonworms, and Carolina Sphinx hornworms). It then became interesting to identify them, look for the adults, and see how many different species I could find and log.
