Biography:

I am a retired curatorial assistant from both the California Academy of Sciences, and the Essig Museum of Entomology at the University of California, Berkeley. I have been working with parasitic Hymenoptera since the late 1970's, and received my PhD in Entomology at Berkeley researching the biological control of the linden aphid, but am most familiar with the Encyrtidae and other Chalcidoidea.
