I do not suppose that there are a great deal of people living in the modern day world that are envious of those individuals that practice a hunting and gathering way of life. But I must say that I find myself, more and more to be one of the few. My primary interest is in ecology, as it relates to understanding my own being and the rest of the world which surrounds me, which has led me to have a great appreciation for those people amongst us who do not resort to plundering the planet to suit our own selfish desires. An appreciation of, and fascination with the amazing diversity of insects, especially, has led to me to become deeply engaged, both in my thinking and in how I spend my time, with the great beauty of this awe-inspiring planet which I, somehow, have been so very fortunate to have been granted. I send out a message of gratitude to whoever, whatever, whyever you are.
