I became interested in dragonflies in 2010, when I was living in Oklahoma and birding every weekend, and it's been a slippery slope since then to being interested in other insects...and spiders...and of July 2014 I'll be living in Europe for a few years, but I have a lot of backlog from the US to identify.

I spent 6 months working as an educator at an invertebrate zoo and I took an introductory entomology course in 2012, but otherwise am self-educated and eager to learn more!
