Biography:
I live near Barr Lake State Park in Colorado. I set out to do a photographic taxonomy of the stuff I see around here. In 2012 a severe drought left only one horse pasture with flowering plants (Cleome to be specific) and OMG I never saw so many bees and wasps in one place. The more I photographed the more I wanted to photograph. The fine folks here at BugGuide help ID even my crummy shots. I have had an ID within 30 seconds of uploading!
