As far back as I can remember, I have always enjoyed chasing bugs. It was in 2010 when my uncle Sam Wells (click beetle specialist) introduced me to the scientific side of bug chasing. I have been gathering data since.

I have a wide ranging interest in beetle taxonomy; I collect about every beetle species I see with the hope that it will some day be identified. In 2014 I began focusing most of my attention on new world Carabidae, and currently (October, 2015) that group comprises about 1/3 of my personal collection.
