I started collecting insects as a young teenager in July 2010. Since 2013 I have focused primarily on ground beetles. As of February 2019, my personal collection approaches 600 determined species of Geadephaga. About 80% of the species are represented from California, Arizona and Utah.

If I were a more patient taxonomist, I'd study rove beetles.
