Biography:

Lifelong plant ecologist and wildlife biologist. Working prairie, vernal pools, riparian, subalpine Sierra Nevada, coast ranges mixed evergreen and chaparral ecosystems for commercial science, including Rare Plant surveys and mitigation planning and construction. Robin Thorpe has been my mentor and inspiration for years. Other influences I am grateful for: Jack Major G.L. Stebbins, Grady Webster, Gene Begg, Gordon Huntington, Subodh Jain, David Gaines, Peter Brown, David DeSante, Richard Stulcup, Ron O. Kapp. Dean W. Taylor, Robert F. Holland and Steven N. Talley.
