Retired Biologist from USGS, MS Biology, BS Botany. Currently doing field studies as a volunteer with several organizations including Wolf Trap National Park and Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy and the Virginia Native Plant Society. My interest in pollinators began as I noticed them on wildflowers in my native plant garden. Since then it has become an obsession. My husband David supports me with all the camera and microscope equipment and computer issues.
