I am, and will always be, primarily a birder. It is in my blood. My brothers are to blame (first taking me out at age 2). However, I've always had a much broader interest in the natural world. I've grown addicted to insect world since moving to CO in 2011 yet still consider myself very much a novice. So much to learn!

I am particularly fond of Dragons & Damsels, bee flies, and grasshoppers and owe many thanks to Dennis Paulson, Bill Prather, Dave Ferguson, Bob Biagi, and John Ascher for fostering my interest and knowledge.
